I really enjoy the newness that stepping into a brand new year brings. I don't enjoy the pressure of resolutions, or the stress of fostered perfectionism, simply because we have a new calendar year ahead of us. We can meet ourselves, exactly as we are, taking in the learned lessons from the shadows and lights of the previous year, and the unknowns of the year to come.
