Nourishing Tips To Celebrate Change

As we transition seasons, it’s a good time to reflect on what conscious changes we wish to implement in our lives.

When we decide to transition into a healthier way of truly nourishing ourselves, sustainably (and not through some fad diet), we can use ritual to support us.

Here are some creative ideas to mark an important lifestyle change:

1. Create a kitchen sanctuary!

I recommend giving your kitchen a facelift, even through simple inexpensive measures, such as purchasing a few new pots or utensils you’re in need of, or adding decor that inspires you. You can also add fresh flowers, light a candle, or turn on music that uplifts you when you cook.

Your kitchen is your sanctuary — the room that will nourish you — and spending the time to organize it and give it some love, will, in turn, love you back.

Bringing consciousness and presence into your cooking space will bring more stillness and intention into your being.

Learn to slow down, even when the world seems it’s spinning really fast.

2. Buy a book!

 Purchase a new cookbook that inspires you, according to your particular health needs or interests.

3. Journal!

Writing in a journal often allows us to deepen our relationship with ourselves, and move through transitions while staying connected to ourselves (without falling back into old patterns that no longer serve us).

Writing slows us down and is a lovely practice to cultivate at any age. 

You are your highest and deepest partner, you are the one who knows yourself the best.

4. Hire a coach!

Having someone to support you on your journey will assist in holding you accountable to your goals and desires.
