Holiday Offers + How to Use Vitamin D for Greater Health This Winter
Dear friends,
Many of us wait until January to reboot our nutrition. Yet, December is a wonderful time to slow down, double down on self-care, and prepare our intentions for the new year. It's a perfect month to focus on deep nourishment.
If you haven't taken advantage of my 30-minute complimentary Nourishment Coaching consult, feel free to do so during the month of December.
I'd love to support you with tips to energize and strengthen your body and being during the time of the year, which is typically more challenging. We're often tempted with sugary treats, refined carbs, and other addictive foods that strain our immune systems, nervous systems, and whole bodies.
Many of us indulge much of December, eating rich foods that make us feel sluggish, heavy, and inflamed — and I definitely relate to that, especially with all of the stresses upon us.
It's easy to fall into familiar grooved patterns of comforting through food during the holiday times. Some indulgence is going to happen, but can we tweak it a bit creatively and make this month a bit healthier?
Can we rise the next day after a night of heavy eating, pick ourselves up a bit more quickly, and step into a new healthier way once again?
I'd love to support you this month. Allow me to help you in peppering in some nutrient-dense components in your fridge to create a foundation of health during this month. Learn more about Nourishment Coaching here.
If you're a past client, you can email me for available coaching times, and I'm happy to schedule a Zoom call or in-person cooking session for December or January.

What you need to know on Vitamin D
Check out this video from one of my favorite doctors, Chris Kresser. In it, he talks about some brand new findings on the importance of vitamin D during the presence of COVID-19 in our lives.
Most of us know that we should take Vitamin D, but Kresser talks about the latest research linking Vitamin D to decreased deaths and suffering from COVID.
I was incredibly impressed with this research, and because Vitamin D is not a pharmaceutical, these sorts of findings are not getting press!
I love you all dearly, and wanted to share. It takes just a few minutes of your time. Share it with those you love.
Here is a link to a great Vitamin D supplement.
With love,
Maria
